Venturewell kids Design charrette
Stamps School of Art and Design, University of Michigan
Designed, facilitated, and documented a cross-disciplinary design charrette with faculty, researchers, graduate students and local students across design, engineering, business, and public health graduate disciplines to explore preventative health solutions for pre-teens (ages 9-12). The day-long charrette explored ideas to address physical health, mental health and social well-being, obesity, nutrition, physical activity, safety and technology use. Outcomes from this generative workshop session served as a kick-off to the Integrated Product Development (IPD) course led by Stephanie M. Tharp from the Stamps School of Art and Design and Eric Svaan from the Ross School of Business, a cross-disciplinary graduate course at the intersection of design, engineering, and entrepreneurship.
